Budget Day 2021 Archive

SAVE THE DATE for the Saturday, August 21 BUDGET DAY sponsored by the Neighborhood Council Budget Advocates.  You are invited to participate in learning more about the Los Angeles City Budget.  All City services and issues come down to the City's budget. 

 

This year's event theme is, “We Dodged a Bullet This Year.  When Will the Spaghetti and Meatballs Hit the Fan?”  Budget Day will be held via Zoom with a Plenary Session running from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and Regional Breakout Sessions running from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.  The Plenary Session will include speakers and a panel discussion on the theme including participation from our elected officials.  You will have an opportunity to share the concerns and issues of your neighborhood in the Regional Breakout Sessions so that the Budget Advocates may bring them to the attention of City leadership.

Everybody is welcome to attend both sessions.
